Creative Retreats for Women

Step away from the noise. Make room for wonder.

Together, my long time friend Bonnie Kolbenstetter and I thoughtfully curate retreats for women who are ready to pause, reconnect, and explore their creativity in a warm and welcoming environment.

You do not need to consider yourself an artist. You do not need to arrive with a perfect plan—or any plan at all. You simply need to be open to curiosity, meaningful connection, and the possibility of discovering something new within yourself.

Through approachable art experiences, guided reflection, beautiful surroundings, shared meals, laughter, and unhurried conversation, each retreat creates space to breathe more deeply and listen to what may be waiting beneath the busyness of everyday life.

The Joyful Journey Retreat - October 2026

An artful escape into wonder and creative connection.

The Joyful Journey Retreat is an intimate three-night experience in Charlottesville, Virginia, created for women seeking creativity, renewal, and genuine connection.

Together, we will create without pressure or perfection, explore Charlottesville’s vibrant arts community and beautiful wine country, enjoy memorable meals, and make space for the conversations and discoveries that stay with us long after the retreat ends.

With only ten places available, the experience is intentionally small and personal. Whether you are an experienced artist, creatively curious, or simply longing for something restorative and meaningful, you are welcome here.

What You Can Expect

  • Guided mixed media art experiences

  • Creative meditations and reflective prompts

  • Time to rest, explore, and follow your curiosity

  • Beautiful meals and shared conversations

  • Visits inspired by art, nature, and place

  • A supportive community where creativity is welcomed without judgement

  • Space to release what no longer serves you and consider what you are ready to cultivate

More Than a Getaway

A creative retreat is not about escaping your life. It is about returning to it with a little more clarity, aliveness, and trust in yourself.

My hope is that you leave with meaningful memories, new friendships, renewed creative energy, and a deeper connection to the wonder that has always belonged to you.
