Where Art Lives: A Dream Taking Shape (An Art Event to Remember)

Today is one of those days that feels almost surreal.

As I sit down to write this, I find myself reflecting on the many twists, turns, leaps of faith, and unexpected opportunities that have led to this moment. Tonight, my work will be featured as part of Where Art Lives, a unique exhibition that transforms a stunning luxury home in Vienna, Virginia, into a living gallery—and I am absolutely over the moon.

For years, I dreamed of seeing my artwork not only in galleries but in beautifully designed spaces where people actually live, gather, celebrate, and create memories. Spaces where art becomes part of everyday life rather than something viewed from a distance.

Tonight, that dream becomes reality.

Many of the original paintings featured throughout the home will be available for acquisition, offering collectors a unique opportunity to experience the work in a residential setting and envision how it might live within their own homes, workplaces, or collections.

Art Was Meant to Be Lived With

Walking through the home during installation, I found myself pausing again and again. Seeing my paintings thoughtfully curated throughout the space was emotional in a way I didn't expect.

Each room felt transformed—not simply decorated, but infused with energy, color, story, and possibility.

It reminded me why I create.

I've always believed that art is more than something we hang on a wall. Art has the power to change how a space feels. It can create a sense of calm. It can spark curiosity. It can remind us of hope, joy, resilience, and connection. Art can become a daily invitation to pause and reconnect with what matters most.

That belief is at the heart of my work.

As a contemporary mixed media artist, I create intuitive, layered paintings inspired by light, love, wonder, joy, and connection. Each painting begins as a conversation—between color, mark-making, memory, and intuition. The process is rarely predictable, but it is always rooted in discovery.

My hope is that when people encounter the work, they experience more than a painting. I hope they find a moment of reflection. A spark of possibility. A reminder that beauty and meaning are often hiding in plain sight, waiting for us to slow down long enough to notice.

When Art Finds Its Home

One of the things I love most about Where Art Lives is that it moves art beyond the traditional gallery setting and into a real-world environment.

Visitors can experience how artwork interacts with architecture, furniture, natural light, and the rhythms of daily life. They can see firsthand how collecting original art isn't simply about ownership—it's about creating spaces that reflect who we are, what we value, and how we want to feel in the places we inhabit.

As demand continues to grow for original artwork in homes, corporate collections, healthcare environments, and hospitality spaces, exhibitions like this help bridge the gap between imagining art in a space and experiencing it there.

Art doesn't just fill a wall.

It transforms an environment.

It shapes energy.

It creates connection.

And sometimes, it helps a space finally feel complete.

A Season of Possibility

I'm honored to be exhibiting alongside three talented artists and deeply grateful to Fine Nest Realty for envisioning such a creative and inspiring event.

If you've followed my journey for any length of time, you know that much of my work explores the idea of possibility—the belief that something beautiful exists just beyond what we can currently see.

Tonight feels like one of those moments.

A reminder that opportunities often arrive quietly before they become visible.

A reminder that dreams don't always happen overnight.

And a reminder that when we continue showing up, creating, learning, and believing, extraordinary things can unfold.

Experience Where Art Lives

If you're in the Washington, DC region, I would love to personally invite you to join us tonight for Where Art Lives.

This special event offers a rare opportunity to experience original contemporary artwork displayed throughout a stunning luxury residence—allowing you to see firsthand how art can transform a space and become part of everyday life.

Visitors will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore artwork installed throughout the home

  • Meet the featured artists and learn about their creative processes

  • Discover the stories behind the paintings

  • Envision how original artwork might live in their own homes or workplaces

  • Acquire artwork directly from the exhibition

Many of the pieces on display, including works from my Illuminate the World, Cultivation: Tending Inner Landscapes, and other recent collections, will be available for acquisition.

Whether you're a collector, interior designer, homeowner, art enthusiast, or simply curious, I hope you'll stop by and experience the exhibition for yourself.

There is something special about standing in front of a painting in person—seeing the layers, texture, movement, and energy that simply can't be captured through a screen.

Tonight, you can do exactly that.
