Thank You, 2025 — You Were Exactly What I Needed

As the calendar turns, I find myself filled with gratitude for a year that stretched me, held me, and reminded me what truly matters.

2025 was a year of connection—across cities, studios, friendships, and communities. From travels through New Orleans, Miami, Hollywood, Myrtle Beach, Bethany Beach, and Atlanta, to unforgettable moments at Glen Echo and my solo exhibition at the Inova Schar Cancer Center, I was continually reminded that art is not just about what hangs on the wall—it’s about who it touches.

This year brought mentorship, learning, and deep inspiration through my experience with Art2Life in Sausalito, meaningful conversations with artists I admire, guest speaking, teaching emerging creatives, and donating work to Project Create. Seeing my art installed in two Venture X locations and connecting with women facing unimaginable health journeys affirmed my belief that art can be a source of light and connection.

It wasn’t a year without challenges—my health demanded patience and care—but life was still incredibly full.

At the heart of it all was my partner, Todd—my steady support, creative sounding board, and biggest cheerleader. His encouragement made space for growth, including a new studio that allowed me to dream bigger than ever before.

As I step into 2026, I do so with clarity and excitement—preparing for upcoming solo exhibitions, seeking gallery representation, and leaning fully into the values that guide my work: light, love, wonder, joy, and connection.

Thank you, 2025.

I’m ready for what’s next.
