Tired of the Algorithm? Let’s Talk About What’s Real (Creative Process and Personal Growth)

Have you ever felt like you’re trying to have a deep, soulful conversation… in the middle of a construction site?
That’s what social media feels like to me lately.
Put me in a room with real people and ask me about art—and I am alive. I can talk about joy, meaning, connection, and the deeper “why” behind the work all day long.
But put a camera in my face and ask me to “promote” something on an app that changes its mind every five minutes?
Suddenly, I feel like I’m wearing a suit made of itchy wool three sizes too small.
So instead of performing for an unpredictable algorithm…
I’m coming back to my favorite frequency: You.
Because while the algorithm is busy being loud, distracting, and frankly a bit of a bully…. My real life is quietly (and not so quietly) expanding with possibility.
When Real Life Gets Bigger Than the Noise
Let me share a little “pinch me” moment with you.
I’ve been selected to participate in Johnny Depp’s “People’s Artist” competition. And while I’m incredibly honored, what excites me most isn’t just the opportunity—it’s the chance to rally this community around something meaningful.
Voting begins soon, and I’ll be inviting you to be part of that journey with me.
Because this isn’t just about visibility.
It’s about connection, support, and showing what’s possible when we lift each other up.
Art Expanding Into New Spaces
And then… there’s this.
I’m heading out to scout a 5,000-square-foot luxury home where my work will be featured as part of the staging.
Yes. That sentence still feels surreal.
I can already see pieces from my Illuminate the World series breathing inside a space that expansive. It’s as if these inner landscapes I’ve been creating are ready to step out… and take up space in a much bigger way.
And honestly? That feels aligned.
On the Verge of Something New
This week, I completed two new 36 x 48” mixed media paintings for my Cultivation: Tending Inner Landscapes series. And they feel like reflections of exactly where I am right now.
And Yet…
This piece is a quiet, grounded defiance.
It speaks to those moments when the voices—both internal and external—tell you to stay small.
And yet… something deeper insists on growth.
It’s about blooming anyway.Even when conditions aren’t perfect.Even when doubt is loud.

On the Verge
This one holds a different kind of energy.
It’s that precise moment before transformation.
The threshold between protection and inevitability.
The chrysalis just before it breaks.
There’s movement here. Pressure. Becoming.
It’s the feeling that what’s inside of you can’t stay hidden any longer.

Let’s Get Honest About the Layers
Here’s the truth.
I know I’m “supposed” to be showing up as a polished marketing machine right now—especially with my upcoming course, Layers of Possibility.
But I’d rather show up as a human.
Because I know this course is powerful.
I know that over six weeks, we build something real—layer by layer, skill by skill, moment by moment. I know it brings people back to themselves.
But today?
I don’t have the energy to perform for the algorithm. I have the energy to invite you into something real.
A Place for Creative Process and Personal Growth
If you’ve been feeling the fatigue of the digital noise…
If you’re craving something slower, deeper, more grounded…
This is your invitation for a place where creative process and personal growth are front and center.
A 6-week live online experience
An intimate, small-group setting
Real connection, real growth, real creativity
The vibe?
Real talk. Real skills. Zero awkward marketing energy. Just space to create… and become.
Let’s Stop Scrolling and Start Becoming
Whether you find yourself in an “And Yet” season…
Or standing “On the Verge” of something new…
Here’s what I know for sure:
The garden doesn’t grow for the likes.
It grows because growth is natural.
Because becoming is inevitable.
Because something within you refuses to stay buried.
So if you’re ready to let your creativity rise to the surface…
I’d love to meet you there.
With Gratitude and Joy,
Precious Burger
